Rachmaninoff Conducting

Postby mikhailp » Sun Sep 14, 2008 9:31 pm

I recall hearing that Rachmaninoff conducted the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.

Does anyone know if he also conducted the BSO or the NY Phil?

Yes, New York, Boston, Chicago, and also London and other orchestras in Europe, as well as Russian orchestras, of course.

Here is a list of concerts at which he appeared ONLY as conductor.
