As I said I have studied them (both the concerto and the variations) but not played them. I don"t believe that they are difficult as the 3rd Concerto.

Grimaud must be excellent. I heard her live a couple of months ago playing the Ravel G major Concerto and it was one of the best I've ever heard (personally, the best is with Michelangeli and Celibidache). :!:

I agree totally with Amphissa. And what Amphissa wrote is to be taken under consideration with classical music as a unity. There are musicians who play, or have played, with a bunch of wrong notes and musicians who never play wrong notes. Horowitz plays many wrong notes but nobody today playing the ...
