transcription of Prelude

On Youtube I found this very nice documentary on Oistrakh, my favorite violist.

But in it is very werid transcription of a prelude of Rachmaninoff for violins and harps. it starts at about 3:39 Anyone knows anything about it?

Yes you are right, it a crazy piece!


Never heard it like that before. It's the B flat from op.23. I think I saw Kogan playing? And is that Kondraschin conducting?
