Hi there.

One of the pieces that is going to be performed during the conference this year is Suite Op 17, ya?

Whoes recording do you guys recommend?

I wanted to get Lugansky, but looks like his CD was recorded in Japan and US Amazon.com does not have it. :? Do you know where I can get his localy?

A very good recording of this suite is by the russian duo Lyubov and Taimanov. One of my favorites!

Argerich and Freire. Just impressive. I think they play too fast :?

Argerich was planned to play twice in Concertgebouw in Amsterdam this year but did not show up at all :(

Too bad. Do you know why?
Alexeev and Demidenko also have recording but I still insist on Bruk and Taimanov. They're amazing but haven't found many recordings.

The Ashkenazy and Previn recording has much to be admired also.
Very fast tempi but the music does not lack at all. I especially like their taste in sharing and passing melodies!

With Argerich you never know exactly....
the latter was a special concert in her honour, helicopter ready to fly her in but no show.
